We are proud of our child centred environments that speak to the heart of the child. All our spaces, indoors and outdoors focus on natural open ended materials that engage children’s brains and imagination. This is a place where they can not only grow but also blossom!

Our homely, family environments are set up to create emotional safety. It’s only when a child feels safe they can engage in an activity and learn. Safety includes safety from overstimulation. Richness and nourishment for the heart doesn't come from having lots of stuff around, but from select, carefully chosen items for children to interact with. There is beauty in simplicity.

INDOOR

We provide an environment where your child can be experiencing real life, not artificial activities that are disconnected to life. They are able to absorb life unfolding around them as they freely potter and tinker in their play. They can experience the ordinary with joy and see the magic in every day moments.

OUTDOOR

In our natural outdoor environment your child will have access to a multi-sensory banquet where they can choose from a smorgasbord of offerings. They can use all of their senses to explore and to see beyond what is just on the surface. This is the perfect place to be a child, to create, to imagine and to dream.

We are in the business of creating memories that make hearts sing. Every child is born free and equal and has the right to be treated with dignity, respect and kindness. This belief creates a very special community at our centre.

Kindness is critical, for little hearts and for big hearts. It is a direct 'deposit' into the 'heart account' and honours the spirit of the receiver. Gentleness and tender care are important parts of our programme. For us it’s a matter of ‘heart’ keeping, not ‘house keeping’.

We take time to warm little hearts

We offer your child a safe haven from unnecessary speed - a peaceful oasis. No child is rushed, but indeed given time to blossom and unfurl at their own pace. The best things in life aren’t things, but time to build relationships that flourish. Paint pots can wait, little hearts can not!

We tune out the unnecessary and tune in to what matters. We love watching little lives unfold. Authentic experiences are the cornerstone of our programme. Childhood is to be savoured, not to be hurried. It’s not novelty, but familiarity that offers the chance for your child to explore and provide their own novel ideas by asking the important question of "what else could I do with this"?

We take our lead from the child. We observe; what makes your child’s eyes light up? What brings your child comfort? Who or what is your child drawn to? What tickles their sense of humour? How do they choose to express themselves? Your child can make their own discoveries, and their own decisions about what is extraordinary. We observe, share in the joy, and give our attention and join the child’s sense of wonder at live’s miracles. Our strength is to observe well so we can serve well.
